Cleaning environment in project countries is useful and fun!

One of the activities between the mobilities is cleaning environment in our own home areas. Proper disposal of garbage and recycling helps prevent pollution of land, water, and air. When waste is left unattended or improperly disposed of, it can release harmful chemicals and greenhouse gases into the environment.

Keeping that in mind, students and teachers have cleaned the environment in every four country. Here are some pictures from Cyprus and Island doing the cleaning. 

For instance in early April, the Cypros Team visited the National Athalassa Park in Nicosia  and "Phoinikoudes" beach in Larnaca where the children cleaned a big part of the forest near the lake. They put on their gloves and collected large amounts of garbage, which they later separated for recycling.
